Just in case you didn’t already know, before beginning in advertising as a Copywriter I actually set out to be a journalist, studying both in Sydney and in the acclaimed J-School program at the University of Missouri.
But the thrill of chasing a story was superseded by my love for creating them.
Skip forward to now and for the last 15 years I’ve used storytelling to weave narrative through the facts, figures, goals, and brands of the businesses I’ve worked on.
In doing so, I’ve helped build and launch brand platforms as diverse as Tourism Australia, BIG W, Stella Artois, Panadol, Dunkin’ Donuts and Volvo.
Most recently I was Creative Director of Eardrum – the world’s most awarded audio agency – where I was brought in to help redefine and relaunch the agency’s brand, and further its formidable reputation in radio advertising and podcasting.
I’ve been pretty fortunate to work at some stellar companies both in Sydney and New York including Ogilvy, Mother, BMF, M&C Saatchi and GREY.
Along the way I’ve received recognition at the likes of Cannes, AWARD, ADMA, DMA and Caples; represented Australia on The One Show’s Radio & Audio Jury; presented on the state of creativity at the IAB Business Summit; and mentored the industry’s future talent at AWARD School.
